A medieval French village in the middle of a Malaysian rainforest, Colmar Tropicale French Village features a castle drawbridge that leads to a massive cobblestone courtyard filled with colourful flowers, park benches, a water fountain, a wishing well and an intricate cuckoo clock tower that France's Riquewihr Tower inspires. The tour begins with a stop at the famous Batu Caves. The hidden Hindu temple is within a cave with stunning views of Kuala Lumpur. The caves are one of the country's well-known tourist attractions. Batu Caves is also a place of pilgrimage for Hindus worldwide. Marvel at the immense 140-feet gold-painted statue of Lord Murugan, made from reinforced concrete. Take the challenge by walking 242 steps to the top and visiting the Murugan Temple in the cave. This vibrant place of worship is a must-visit while at Batu Caves. Before heading up to Colmar Tropicale French Village, you will visit a local handicraft centre. Check out exciting handicrafts from rattan furniture to batik paintings. At the same time, be sure to try some local honey fresh from the forest. Journey up to Colmar Tropicale French Village and be inspired as though you are at the town in Alsace, France. This location showcases the beautiful European architecture and has a variety of colourful shophouses and brick towers. With serene landscapes and rolling hills located approximately 2,700 feet above sea level, you can breathe in the fresh, cold mountain air. If it is not bewildering enough to find a French village in the middle of a Malaysian forest, we will also bring you to a tranquil Japanese village. Travelers are greeted upon arrival by a majestic view of lush, green mountains and mist-covered landscapes that seem to have come straight out of an oriental art piece. The village is set to bring you a part of Japan without flying there. You can even rent and get dressed up in a kimono while exploring the area; perfect for taking those Insta-worthy photos. Get ready to be amazed as you proceed next to the Botanical Garden. You are likely to see beautiful flowers and trees that you have never seen before. You will discover small streams with Koi and ponds in the garden as you walk. Walking around the garden will soothe your mind as you inhale the fresh air. Our next and final stop will be at the rabbit farm. Get ready to be charmed by the cuteness of fluffy rabbits. Feel free to feed, touch, and play with the rabbits while taking photos. Besides rabbits, you will be visiting other friendly animals like birds and donkeys.
